Awww....bless your hearts! So thankful things are coming along for you, and how great of our God to allow you to have the root cellar dug, too! Oh, He is worthy of our trust, and if we would only wait upon Him and His means of supplying and deliverance, we would see so many more miracles and provisions!! So happy for you both! I was reading back through your blog some, and I came across where you built a house in town...I watched part of the video. So, are you moving from that house to the country to this cottage? I probably missed a lot of details in between the two posts, so am just trying to piece it all together! Just curious, I suppose! God bless you both and work out every detail for you in ways that just amaze you!!! He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or even think!
Sorry it's a bit confusing. ;-) We didn't build a house in town. We rented one. When we moved to north Idaho, we originally were living off grid in a VERY small motor home. I was 8 months pregnant. The motor home had several leaks. Our walk space was about a foot wide. We didn't have running water or any way to set up systems that mimic running water. Our motor home heated unevenly, so the floor was freezing (literally, I used it as a freezer) and the top was suffocating. For the month that we lived in the motor home, we knew that we needed something else and started looking for a place to rent or buy.
We found our house in town, and what a blessing it was!! I actually had my daughter in our living room just a month and a half after we moved in. Now that we have been removed from the motor home and off grid living for a few months, we are returning to the off grid living- but with a plan! We bought the cottage unfinished and will be turning that into our home. We're moving in on Wednesday!
Thank you for the encouragement! We have seen God's hand working in wonderful ways already. I am going to try to keep things updated. I love to boast of God's glory!
I know that this is all very exciting for you, on round #2 off grid with a plan! I look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for you both with this adventure! :)
