Faith

Thank you, Quozio, for the font and background!

Our faith is founded in Christ Jesus. One of our favorite scriptures is Galatians 2:20, which states that we "live by the faith of the Son of God." We believe that as we draw closer to the Lord in a relationship with Him, He will lead us and guide us in all truth. God is truth, and therefore, we want only to know Him.

We believe in studying the Word of God, as 2 Timothy 2:15 says to "study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth." Our studies include analyzing scriptures and passages for context (in passage, cultural, and historical), defining keywords, looking at the grammar/syntax of the scripture in the original language, and cross referencing to other passages and scriptures in the Bible. We study so that our "faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God (1 Corinthians 2:5)."

As we study-- and as the Lord changes our perspective and thoughts on various topics-- it is my hope that we will be able to share the documents where we compile our research and studies. We do not promote the idea that we are completely correct and all should come into agreement with us; rather, we believe that "iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17) and welcome discussion.
